The majority of browsers and document explorer windows feature specific refresh buttons that can be pushed with the mouse or touch pad inside the application window.
A page or window that has been refreshed will reload with the most recent version of the information. The user is never viewing outdated info and is always aware of fresh updates. Navigation is more practical when using keyboard shortcuts.
