Where is country code 97 for phones?

There is no country code for the phone number “97,” but there are a few that start or end with these numbers. Most of the Middle Eastern countries have codes that start with “97.”

When making long-distance calls to family, friends, or business partners, you have to put the country code before the phone number. West Bank and Gaza Strip’s country code is 970. Before calling the United Arab Emirates, dial 971, before calling a number in Israel, dial 972, and before calling Bahrain, dial 973.

Qatar has the country code 974, Bhutan has the code 975, Nepal has the code 977, and Mongolia has the code 976. Suriname (597) and Aruba (597) both have codes that end in 97. (297).
