Guadalajara, Mexico was the location where the first Xbox console was manufactured before it was released in November of 2001. In the Pearl River Delta region of Southern China, the production of its successor, the Xbox 360, took place. Since September of 2014, the Xbox One has been made in Shanghai, which is located in China.
The video game console Xbox was developed by the American company Microsoft, and the American firm Flextronics was awarded the contract to manufacture Xbox consoles. The United States, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary, Poland, China, India, and Malaysia are just a few of the countries around the world in which Flextronics operates manufacturing facilities. Other countries include: The Xbox 360 was made in South China by Flextronics, Wistron, Celestica, and Foxconn, all of which have production facilities there. Since September of 2014, Flextronics and Foxconn have been responsible for the production of Xbox One consoles.
