Where Are Pirelli Tires Made?

The Pirelli corporation is headquartered in Milan, Italy, although it also has manufacturing facilities in Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, and the United States. Pirelli’s first American manufacturing facility, located in Rome, Georgia, was inaugurated in March 2003.

After Bridgestone, Michelin, Continental, and Goodyear, Pirelli was the fifth largest tyre maker in the world as of September 2014. The company sells tyres in more than 160 countries and operates 21 manufacturing facilities globally. While tyres account for 99 percent of the company’s income, Pirelli also offers a brand of high-tech clothing dubbed PZero. Since 1907, Pirelli has been the exclusive tyre supplier for Formula One Championship races and a significant sponsor of sporting events.
