When Is Daughter’s Week?

As of 2015, neither the government nor the general public officially recognise Daughter’s Week in the United States. The unofficial Sons and Daughters Day is typically observed on April 11.

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, which occurs on the fourth Thursday of April, is another national holiday. The Ms. Foundation for Women founded this holiday in 1993 so that youngsters could learn about the workplace. The festival was initially known as Take Our Daughters to Work Day, but in 2003 it was broadened to include boys as well.
