Tom Netherton, an American vocalist, has never been married. When asked about marriage, Netherton said, “It’s better to have love and lose than to be married and bossed!”
Netherton rose to prominence after appearing on the “Lawrence Welk Show” in 1973. He pursued a career in theatre after the show ended in 1982. He appeared in several musicals, including “Oklahoma,” in which he portrayed “Curly,” and “Carousel,” in which he played Billy Bigelow. Netherton has written on his military service as well as his Christian beliefs. On shows like “The 700 Club,” “The Hour of Power,” and the “Billy Graham Crusades,” he has openly addressed his religious beliefs.
