What Is the Net Height for Girls’ High School Volleyball?

Volleyball for high school girls and women is played with a net that is 7 feet, 4 1/8 inches high. This length is measured from the middle of the net.

A good net has horizontal bands of canvas or vinyl at the top and bottom that run the whole length of the net. Cords keep the top and bottom taut while the game is going on. Most competition nets are 39 inches wide and anywhere from 31 feet, 6 inches to 33 feet long. The court is 59 feet long and 29 feet 6 inches wide. The net is a little bit wider than the court.
