What Is the Mascot for the Green Bay Packers?

The Green Bay Packers do not have an official mascot. Along with the Washington Redskins, San Diego Chargers, New York Jets, and New York Giants, the Green Bay Packers are one of the few teams in the NFL without an official mascot.

The Packers honour the Indian Packing Company with their name. Curly Lambeau, the founder and first head coach of the Packers, received funding for team uniforms from the Indian Packing Company, his employer at the time, and hence named the team after the company. The Indian Packing Company has ceased operations, but the team’s name has not altered.
