What Is the Largest German Shepherd?

Oborge says that as of September 2014, the largest German shepherd in the world is named Duke. He is almost 32 inches tall and weighs 131 pounds. Duke has a son who is almost as big as Duke himself.

Duke’s owners say that the dog ate mostly spinach and grew so big because of it. He was born at the Milky Way Farm in Pulaski, Tennessee. As of 2014, he has lived with his family for more than six years. Duke is very active for his size. He likes to play outside, run around tables at home, and chase the ashes around the bonfires his family has.
