What Is the Best Way to Remove an L-Shaped Nose Piercing?

Push the jewellery through the piercing at the precise angle to remove an L-shaped nose piercing, then disinfect the area. Remove the jewellery only when the piercing has healed completely. Wait at least nine days before removing a new piercing.

Hands should be soap-free.

Using antibacterial soap and warm water, scrub both hands. Using a clean cloth, dry them.

Locate the bar.

Hold the perforated nostril slightly open to find the L-shaped bar. Feel for the L-shaped bar by pressing a finger against the nose ornament.

Grasp the bar and pull it through the piercing.

Locate the bar’s end. Up and through the opening in the nose, push the bottom of the L-shaped bar. Push the rest of the jewellery through the piercing after passing the bar through the piercing until the angle lines up.

Make sure the jewellery is clean.

Rinse the jewellery with water after washing it with antibacterial soap. Using a clean paper towel, fully dry it.

Clear your nasal passages.

1 cup warm water + a pinch of non-iodized sea salt Soak the nose for a few minutes in the solution. Using a clean cloth, pat the nose totally dry.

Keep the valuables safe.

Remove the jewellery and place it in a clean container. Before putting the jewellery back in the nose piercing, clean it completely.
