Phi Nu Pi is the secret motto of the African-American undergraduate fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. Some believe that this expression means “Friends Never Part.” The fraternity has a secret motto and a secret handshake, neither of which are intended to be exposed.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Kappa Alpha Psi was one of the earliest African American fraternities when it was created at Indiana University in 1911. This fraternity currently has more over 150,000 members in the United States. As with every other fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi features secret components, such as its motto, about which the general public can only assume.
