The Magic Chef Furnace is a home heating system with a standing pilot that is made by the Magic Chef appliance company. The company no longer makes furnaces, but some of the older ones are still in use.
From the 1970s to 1988, Magic Chef made a line of ovens. Magic Chef is still a brand name, but in 1988, Maytag bought the company and changed the name of its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning division to Armstrong Air. Armstrong kept making furnaces after the sale, and some of the parts can be used on different models. Armstrong is still in business, and their dealers may be able to provide parts and service.
