What Is a Cold-Natured Person?

A person with a cold nature feels cold more often than warm. People who are naturally cold tend to be cold even when people around them are warm or when the temperature is high.

Researchers at the University of Florida did a study in 2004 that was published in the Journal of Neuroscience. It shows that some nerve cells react to things other than temperature to make us feel cold. The biochemicals, hormones, and proteins in a cold-natured person’s body help explain why they feel cold even when it’s warm outside. This is why things like depression or menopause can sometimes make a person have a cold or hot personality.
