What Does the “SJ” on the Ferrari Logo Mean?

The letters that appear to be “SJ” on the Ferrari logo are actually “SF” and stand for “Scuderia Ferrari.” Typically, Formula One races are contested by Ferrari’s racing team division. The Italian word “scuderia” refers to a stable for racing horses.

Scuderia is also widely used to describe motor racing teams. Additionally, the squad is named for its founder, Enzo Ferrari. The logo features a prancing horse since it was the emblem on the fighter jet of the Italian World War I ace Francesco Baracca. After the pilot’s death, Baracca’s parents, who were close friends with Enzo Ferrari, begged the entrepreneur to utilise the emblem.
