A glance is a collection of animals. Within the family group, raccoons are friendly creatures. They’ll stay with the family for a year before going off in search of a spouse.
In the United States and southern Canada, raccoons can be found practically anywhere. Raccoons in the wild build dens in hollow logs or trees, but in suburban and urban environments, they may opt to reside in attics or under houses. Raccoons spend the colder months of the year in their dens, only venturing out on warmer days.
Raccoons eat a wide range of foods, including fruits and nuts, as well as frogs, fish, mussels, and insects. Raccoons will eat cat food, chips, and whatever else they can find in trashcans in suburban and urban settings.
