Upcoming Marvel Movies and Shows on Disney Plus – Despite the fact that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), and Natasha Romanoff (Brie Larson) will no longer be part of the MCU after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the film did mark the end of an era (Scarlett Johansson). Disney Plus, for which Marvel Studios is producing original films and television shows, has finally arrived, which is great news for MCU followers. As a result, a string of Marvel-themed films and television series set to debut on Disney Plus have been announced. Some Marvel series will consist of multiple episodes, making them lengthier than a movie but yet providing viewers with a satisfying conclusion to the plot.

All the future Marvel movies and episodes coming to Disney Plus are detailed below.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Movie) (Movie)

May 6th, 2022 is the official release date.

The comic book character Doctor Strange will be the focus of Disney Plus’s first Marvel-based film, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which will premiere alongside other planned Marvel films and television series. The Sam Raimi-helmed, Marvel Studios-produced film is a follow-up to 2016’s Doctor Strange. Dr. Strange, accompanied by both new and old mystic allies, journeys to the multiverse a few months after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home in order to confront the unknown antagonist. The film will have its global premiere on May 2, 2022, and it will be released to theatres on May 6, 2022.

As Marvelous as She Is, Ms. (Show)

The first broadcast is scheduled on June 8, 2022.

Series Finale: 6th Episode

Ms. Marvel, also known as Kamala Khan, is the subject of future Marvel films and television series on Disney Plus directed by Adil El Arbi, Sharmeen Obaid- Chinoy, Bilall Fallah, and Meera Menon. Ms. Marvel learns that she is an inhuman and is a Pakistani American with the ability to shapeshift. Iman Vellani will take over as Ms. Marvel in September of 2020. This phase four MCU show is set to be published in June 2022 exclusively on Disney Plus

Thunder and Love in Thor (Movie)

Release Date: July 8, 2022

Thor: Love and Thunder, directed by Taiki Waitit and starring Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman, is the fourth instalment in Marvel Studios’ Thor Saga and a direct sequel to 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. When Gorr the God Butcher tries to wipe off the God race, Thor teams up with Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster to stop him.

The next Marvel film starring Thor, titled Love and Thunder, will hit theatres on July 8, 2022.

A female version of the Incredible Hulk (Series)

Jessica Gao’s upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series She-Hulk stars Tatiana Marlany (Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk), Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Jameela Jamil, etc. Once She-Hulk is released, Bruce Banner won’t be the only Hulk in the MCU. Phase Four of the MCU, including this 10-episode series, is expected to debut in 2022; however, release dates have yet to be confirmed.

Secret Invasion (Series) (Series)

The next Marvel Studios miniseries will be the MCU’s eighth television series overall. Some of the actors featured in the film are Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendeksohn, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, and Emilia Clarke. In the show, aliens known as Skrulls are shown to have infiltrated every aspect of human life on Earth. Release dates for the six-episode series are likely to be announced in 20222.

Heart of Iron (Series)

Ironheart, a series about an engineer who creates high-tech armour suits, will premiere on Disney Plus in December 2020, Marvel Studios revealed. Dominique Thorne plays the main role. As of now, no official release date of the series has been given, however, it is expected to be released sometime in 2022 or early 2023.

Groot Here (Series)

Ryan Little and Kirsten Lepore have collaborated to develop the upcoming animated series I Am Groot, which is based on the Marvel Comics character Groot. Production on the series’ visual elements began in 2021, following its announcement in 2020. Baby Groot is the protagonist of this series. He is a tree-like humanoid who is growing up across the cosmos and getting into problems as a result of his encounters with strange creatures. The movie is intended to be released as a part of Phase Four of the MCU on Disney Plus in 2022. As one of the many future Marvel films and shows that will be available on Disney Plus, “I Am Groot” is eagerly anticipated by fans.

The Marvel films and series listed above are only a sampling of what will soon be available on Disney Plus. Disney Plus also has a number of upcoming Marvel films and series, including Season 2 of Loki and What Is It? Among these are Season 2 of Wakanda Series (untitled), Season 3 of Echo, etc. However, they have not been featured in the above list since the cast, no. of episodes, release date, narrative, etc have not been disclosed yet by the Marvel Studios.
