Peach is a hue created by mixing yellow and pink. To achieve a real peach colour, use equal portions of each shade when blending the two colours.
A peach colour is created by blending equal parts pink and lemon yellow in paint or food colouring. Adding more pink to the combination results in a peach shade with deeper red tones, while adding more yellow results in a peach shade with more orange tones.
When making peach-colored icing using food colouring, gradually adding more white icing lightens the peach colour. White icing is applied to peach-colored icing until the required shade is achieved to create flesh-tone.
