On What Holidays Are Liquor Stores Closed in Connecticut?

Section 30-91(D) of the Connecticut General Statutes prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. On holidays, restaurants with a tavern licence may serve alcohol during normal business hours.

Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Any municipality may amend these hours by vote at a town meeting.
