Lemonade does not naturally contain caffeine; it is commonly made using lemon juice, water, and sugar. However, some bottled drinks that include lemonade as well as other components, like lemonade iced tea, do include caffeine. Before purchasing bottled drinks, check the labels to see if they contain caffeine.
While any lemonade made only from water, sugar, and lemon juice never contains caffeine, adding extra components occasionally does. Numerous other lemonade-flavored drinks, including energy drinks and sodas, in addition to lemonade iced teas, also have caffeine in them. The label of a lemonade beverage will often specify that it is caffeine-free when caffeine is absent.
