The Bible says that it took 120 years for Noah to build the ark, but it does not specify how long Noah preached before the flood. According to the Bible, Noah was 600 years old when the world was submerged in water.
At the age of 500, Noah gave birth to three sons, according to Genesis 5:32–10:1. At the time of the flood, Noah’s sons were adults with their own wives; the Bible leaves out many of these years.
At this time, God also decided against creating man and gave Noah the order to construct an ark to safeguard his family and the animals. It can be assumed that Noah preached 100 years before the flood as it occurred 100 years later.
