A normal Guinness keg contains 105.67 pints. Each keg carries 1,984 ounces of beer, as a pint has 16 ounces.
However, this number just represents the ounces contained in the keg. When a beer is poured, a layer of froth known as the head occupies more space than the drink itself. Taking foam into consideration, a normal keg may serve up to 140 pints of beer, assuming each glass has a 2-inch head of froth. A normal keg is half a barrel, so one barrel of beer would yield 211.34 pints.
