Hawaii, which is in the Pacific Ocean about 2,300 miles from the West Coast of the United States, is not included in the measurement. Only Russia, Canada, and China are wider than any other country.
Angle, Minnesota, on the border with Canada, is the most northern city in the United States. East Cape in Florida is the most southern point. It is in Everglades National Park.

There are thousands of cities all over the 50 states of the U.S. Sitka (2,870 square miles), Juneau (2,702 square miles), Wrangell (2,541 square miles), and Anchorage are the four largest cities in Alaska in terms of land area (1,704 square miles). At 747 square miles, Jacksonville, Florida, is the fifth largest city in the country. At 0.09 square miles, the Wyoming city of Lost Springs is thought to be the smallest city in the country.

When it comes to height, Alaska’s Denali National Park and Preserve is home to the highest point in the U.S. Denali Mountain’s highest point is 20,308 feet high. In eastern California is the lowest point in the United States. It’s in Death Valley National Park, in a place called Badwater Basin. It is -282 feet above sea level.

At 33,904 miles, Alaska has the most coastline, and Florida is second with 8,436 miles. The last three states with the longest coastlines are Louisiana, Maine, and California.
Canada is to the north of the continental United States. The border between the two countries is about 5,525 miles long. In the south, the U.S. has a border with Mexico that is 1,954 miles long. The east and west coasts of the country do not touch another country. To the east is the Atlantic Ocean, and to the west is the Pacific Ocean.
