List of Men’s Soccer Leagues

Have you ever wondered if there were different ways to rank soccer leagues? Well, the “Football League Rankings” is just a list of all the professional football (or soccer) leagues in the world and how strong they are.

So, how do you decide which leagues are the best in the world? According to Football League Rankings, the site takes the rankings of all clubs from FiveThirtyEight, groups them into their leagues, and figures out what it calls “the average SPI (Soccer Power Index) and the standard deviation of the values.” How did it turn out? You can see which teams are at the bottom of their leagues and how the leagues stack up against each other.

FIFA and its confederations are the international soccer leagues for men.

In the world of men’s professional soccer, there are a few associations that you should know about, such as the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

If you have ever seen the World Cup, you have probably heard of FIFA. The federation was started in 1904 to bring together the national soccer associations. It has 209 members, which is more than the United Nations (UN). Every four years, the qualifying national teams of countries compete in the FIFA World Cup, which is similar to the Olympics.

Also, FIFA is made up of six confederations: the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), and the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) (OFC). All of these confederations support FIFA as a whole “without infringing on the rights of the national associations.”
