A person can become a warlock by following pagan religions, especially Wicca, which is widely known as the witchcraft religion. A warlock is a man by definition. A witch or sorceress would be a girl’s equivalent.
Before you join a religion, you should learn as much as you can about it. In spite of what most people think, Wiccans are not spellcasters who use magic wands. A good way to learn about Wicca is to read about it and talk to people who are into it.
Make a commitment to being a witch.
Wicca doesn’t have a formal ceremony to mark its start. It is a personal act of faith that takes place in a place that the person converting chooses. It should, however, show in some way what it means to be Wiccan, and it should show that the commitment being made is truly valued.
Start making magic.
This can be done alone by using books or other resources, or it can be done with other people by joining a coven. A group of witches and warlocks who work together is called a coven. Most covens have a required time for new members to learn about the group and become a part of the culture before they are officially accepted.
