Using a web-enabled device and a web browser to access the CenturyTel webmail service is a convenient method to check your email. In 2009, CenturyTel was renamed CenturyLink, although customers with CenturyTel email addresses can still access their accounts via the Internet from the CenturyLink homepage.

Using a computer or other Internet-enabled device and a Web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer, visit centurylink.net to access the CenturyLink homepage.
Select the Email link
To access the webmail interface, click the Email option at the upper right of the page. In the future, you can bypass the homepage and get directly to webmail by bookmarking the webmail portal page.
Enter your account details.
Input your username and password in the corresponding fields on the webmail login screen. Your username is the portion of your email address that comes before the @ symbol.
Select an email domain
Utilize the drop-down option to choose the CenturyLink domain for your email. The email domain is the portion of the email address that follows the @ symbol. If you are a vintage CenturyTel customer, it is likely that your domain is centurytel.net. Click the Forgot Password link if you have forgotten your password. If you are using a private device, you can check the box to remain logged in for future email access convenience. Click the Login button to access your inbox.
