The universal control remote codes for a JVC television are 0060, 0026, 0197, 0069, 0242, 0923, 0012, 0065, 0067, and 0141. These are the universal codes for all JVC remote controls that have been published.
The universal codes for JVC products can also be found on the instruction sheet or manual guide that comes with the remote control or television set. If these universal codes do not work, the right code can be obtained by calling or emailing JVC directly.
The “SETUP” button on a JVC remote control must be pressed first to set the programming. The red indicator light should turn on and stay on for users. The button can be released once it is turned on. It’s now time to hit the button (TV, DVD) attached to the device that has to be controlled rapidly. The indication light should blink once before remaining illuminated. The device must then be programmed using one of the JVC universal codes. If it’s correct, the light will turn off; if it’s incorrect, the light will begin to flash. Finally, the device can be manually switched off and reset. The remote should now be fully functional. If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to attempt the other JVC universal codes.
