PeachCare for Kids could be able to provide coverage for two different types of braces. Braces for your teeth are the first, and they are not covered. The second is orthotic braces, which, in accordance with the Georgia Department of Public Health, may be covered if determined to be medically necessary.
The health care programme for kids in Georgia without health insurance is called PeachCare for Kids. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, benefits include primary, preventative, specialty, dental, and vision care.
Additionally covered are inpatient stays, ER visits, prescription drugs, and mental health services. In terms of the number of kids enrolled, the PeachCare for Kids programme came in seventh place nationally in 2010.
