The Aleve website states that the medication does not contain caffeine. Aleve has neither acetaminophen, ibuprofen, nor aspirin. Unless specifically instructed by a medical professional, Aleve should not be combined with other pain relievers.
According to the Aleve website, the medication contains salt. Each tablet, caplet, gelcap, and liquid gel capsule of Aleve contains 20 milligrammes of sodium so that the active ingredient, naproxen, can be metabolised more quickly. The Food and Drug Administration classifies Aleve as a low-sodium product.
Aleve does not add gluten to its products, according to the Aleve website, although Aleve may contain trace levels of gluten because it is manufactured in a facility where gluten-containing goods are processed.
